Family ‘Tides’ (Accordion Book/Panels)

About:

Inspired primarily by my childhood and my family relationships - I wanted to create a piece that felt spontaneous but connected and that, in a sense, took the viewer to different planes of this world in a visually harmonious manner. Finally, the illustration was formatted as an accordion-bound book with separated hardcovers so it could be held and flipped through like a standard book, or fully spread out.
